I wanted to improve my voice, but didn’t realize how much more I would get from our sessions. After working with you there is an amazing difference in how I show up in life. Feeling confident about my voice has created new possibilities for me. Your belief in me was so encouraging. I loved your enthusiasm and commitment to take me to the next level.

The difference in my voice from 12 private lessons has been remarkable. I began to notice a change after 4 sessions. I’m now able to sustain my voice smoothly for long periods, access many kinds of tone, and use resonance to project easily. Even my colleagues have commented on the change.

I’ve been working with Jennifer to address the “wobble” in my voice. Our sessions have been informative, focused — and playful! A rich mix of information about the science of voice, the factors that shape my sound, and many ways to explore and develop its natural range.
Jennifer is a wonderful guide for this journey. Through a variety of intriguing exercises, I am making friends with my voice, learning how to use it effectively, and how to care for it as part of my whole being, not just the 2.5 inches between my chin and collarbones.

One on One Coaching

Private coaching is the best way to find your clearest and most compelling voice. Almost every voice has the potential to be resonant, expressive, powerful, and engaging.

Changing poor vocal habits is possible.  It takes time, awareness, and intelligent practice. Voice training can help you discover your true sound, so you speak with ease and power.

Most people benefit from 4-6 sessions and are able to make some changes immediately.  A customized program may last 12 sessions or more depending on your goals, such as a speech, recording, or media appearance.  Some students take a few lessons and then check in periodically to integrate changes and move forward.

The work is individual. It will likely include developing resonance and breath support, expanding vocal range, and releasing tension or managing stage fright.

If you speak with an accent, improving your delivery will give your speech much more clarity.  Delivery is the WAY you speak, not your pronunciation.  It includes rhythm, melody, pace, and inflection.  I do not focus on changing accents.

I teach online and in person.  Online sessions are equally effective – all you need is a quiet space and internet access.
